Pickleball and Tennis Court Reservations
Marblehead’s Public Courts are available by reservation and can be made 8 days in advance by residents and non-residents.
Players are allowed 1 reservation per account, per day.
*Please note you will need to create an account for the Court Reservation system.
Reservations are strongly encouraged. Courts are highly used.
Public pickleball and tennis courts are maintained at the following locations across the Town of Marblehead:

Lessons, Leagues & Teams
Only Marblehead Public School and Marblehead Recreation & Parks teams, lessons and leagues are allowed. Private instruction on the courts is strictly prohibited.
Pickleball and Tennis Only
Courts are for Pickleball and Tennis Only. No pets, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, street hockey or non-tennis activity are allowed on the tennis courts.
Net Lowering and Raising Policy
- When the temperature stays at or below freezing (32°F) for several days in a row, all nets will be lowered for the season.
- Courts will remain open for play, and players are welcome to use portable nets.
- In early spring, once temperatures are consistently above 40°F for several days, nets will be raised again.
Court Closing Policy
Courts will be locked and closed for play whenever snow and ice are present. This is to protect both the court surface and the safety of anyone who might try to clear them.
Snow and ice will be left to melt naturally. Town resources will not be used to remove snow or ice from the courts.
