Town of Marblehead Issues Snow Emergency Four-Day Overnight Parking Ban Starting Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 11 p.m.

Due to the recent storms and their effects on streets and sidewalks, the Town of Marblehead is issuing overnight parking bans for the week to allow for additional snow cleanup and removal.

Four-Day Snow Emergency Parking Ban:

  • Wednesday, Feb 25, starting at 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.
  • Thursday, Feb 26, starting at 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.
  • Friday, Feb 27, starting at 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.
  • Saturday, Feb 28, starting at 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.

For planning purposes, this ban will restrict parking on public streets from 11p.m. to 7a.m. each night for the next four days (February 25-28). Please visit the Town of Marblehead website and Police/Fire social media pages for updates on parking restrictions.

When a snow emergency parking ban is declared, parking will be restricted on public roadways during the designated hours of the parking ban. Vehicles found in violation of the parking ban may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense to ensure roads remain clear for emergency vehicles and snow cleanup and removal operations..

Residents and visitors are also urged to park responsibly to help keep roadways clear and safe throughout the week as crews work to remove excess snow during the day as well. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
