Marblehead 2037: Master Plan

The Town of Marblehead is in the process of updating one of the community’s most important guiding documents: The Master Plan.  A master plan is a strategic framework document that guides the future physical and economic development of a town or city based on the community’s vision and goals.

In 2024, the Town of Marblehead was awarded a grant for $130,000 from EOHLC’s Community Planning Grant Program to help the Town update its Mater Plan. Marblehead has not updated its Master Plan since 1989. The Town has decided to retain MAPC (Metropolitan Area Planning Council) to facilitate and develop a 10-year master plan that will take approximately  18-24 months to complete
