Open Finance is an application which interacts directly with the Town’s General Ledger to provide financial transparency to the residents of Marblehead. The application allows a drill down type approach to viewing budget vs actual data, vendor payments and payroll information.

The Financial Services Department is dedicated to managing the Town’s financial operations with transparency, accuracy, and accountability.

Under the leadership of the Finance Director, appointed by the Select Board, we work every day to ensure your tax dollars are managed responsibly. In addition to guiding the department, the Finance Director also serves as the Data Management Coordinator, overseeing the accuracy and security of our financial systems—so that every report, payment, and plan is based on reliable, up-to-date data.
