Update – Snow Emergency Parking Ban to end Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7 a.m.

The Town of Marblehead shares that the snow emergency parking ban will be lifted effective Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7 a.m.

We remind residents that depositing, pushing, or blowing snow from private property onto public streets, sidewalks or fire hydrants is strictly prohibited. Additionally, while the snow emergency parking ban is still in effect, vehicles should remain off the streets to allow for continued snow operations as we prepare for additional snow accumulation throughout the day and evening Monday.

We urge residents to be cautious on the roads and to limit travel if possible. Before traveling, make sure your car headlights and brake lights are fully functional, check your tires, ensure your gas and coolant levels are full, and equip your car with an emergency kit, ice scrapers and blankets. In the event of an emergency, always dial 911.

We would like to thank residents for their cooperation during the ban.
