Snow Emergency Starting Sunday 1/18/26 @ 8:00 PM

Snow Emergency Declared Due to Upcoming Storm. Starts Sunday, January 18th at 8:00 pm.

A snow emergency has been declared for Sunday, January 18th, at 8:00 pm to Monday, January 19th, at 7:00 am.  During these times, all vehicles must be removed from the streets. A winter storm mix of snow, ice, and freezing rain has been forecasted, which could result in snow accumulation and icy roads. Marblehead DPW requires the roads to be cleared of vehicles to safely conduct snow operations.

It will be illegal to park any vehicle, including boats and trailers, on any public way during the Snow Emergency. Any vehicle, boat or trailer that is not off the public way between 8:00 pm and 7:00 am, will be subject to being ticketed and or towed. Depositing snow and ice on or against a fire hydrant, or on any sidewalk or roadway, is prohibited.  If you can keep your vehicles off the streets when the snow starts on Sunday, that would also help with snow removal operations.

We thank you for your anticipated cooperation during this snow emergency parking ban.
