Nutritional Programs
Lunches by Doug are on Tuesdays @12:00 pm. Suggested donation of $5.00. This meal is prepared at the Council on Aging in our commercial kitchen and is a sit down meal offered most Tuesdays. The cost of lunch is offset by the generosity of the Friends of the Council on Aging.
Grab ‘n Go Lunches are offered on Wednesdays,Thursdays and Fridays here at the COA. This is a program offered through “Agespan”, formerly known as Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley & North Shore. Pick up time is from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Cost for lunch is a suggested donation of $2.00.
The Traveling Chef is a sit down meal offered once a month at the COA. This program is also offered through “Agespan”. The Traveling Chef date is announced in the monthly Newsletter. Cost for lunch is a suggested donation of $2.00.
Meals on Wheels is a program offered through Agespan. To find out more about this program or to register for meals, please call 1-(800)892-0890.

Senior Citizen Property Tax Work-off Program
Marblehead participates in the Senior Citizen Property Tax Work-off Program. The purpose of this program is to allow participating senior taxpayers to volunteer their services to the Town in exchange for a reduction in their property tax bills. Marblehead’s services will be enhanced by utilizing the skills of the Town’s senior citizens.
Seniors interested in participating in the Senior Citizen Property Tax Work-off Program should refer to these Eligibility Requirements and complete the required forms:
