This is an important message from the Town of Marblehead. A snow emergency parking ban has been declared for Thursday, March 5, starting at 11 pm and ending on Friday, March 6 at 7 am due to the forecasted snow and ice totals.

All vehicles must be removed from the streets to allow for snow cleanup and removal operations. It will be illegal to park any vehicle, including boats and trailers on any public way during the snow emergency parking ban. Any vehicle, boat or trailer that is not off the public way during the ban will be subject to being ticketed and or towed.

Depositing snow and ice, on or against a fire hydrant, or on any sidewalk or roadway is prohibited. If your vehicle is towed during a snow emergency, you should call the Marblehead Police Department at 781-631-1212 to confirm the location of your vehicle.

All vehicles are towed to the designated Town tow lot at the Transfer Station at 5 Woodfin Terrace by Todisco Towing or 171 Boston Street, Salem. We thank you for your anticipated cooperation during this snow emergency parking ban.
